Our branch was originally founded by our chairman Tommy Temperley in 2025.
Since then our membership has grown to over 500.
The branch now has a full committee comprising of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Campaign Manager, Secretary and treasurer, all run in line with HQ rules.
The role of the committee is to organise branch meetings, events, recruitment of new members and candidates for council elections and general elections.
In May 2006 the committee worked hard to get 4 councillors elected to the Blackburn with Darwen Council. The Darwen branch was able to get 5 councillors elected giving Reform a voice of 9 councillors for the first time ever in the chamber.

The committee is aware that the changes and challenges that are going to happen under the new Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) is going to present us with even more hard work to ensure that we truly represent your voice in the new council and will need all the support you can offer either as someone who would like to stand as a candidate, any donations you can make to help us fight the elections in May 2027 will be greatly apreciated.
